People always talk about my strength, courage, and positivity, but that is not without some very hard and dark moments. I have a condition called Ehlers Danlos and was in desperate need of cervical spine fusion. After a long 12 days in the hospital, unable to see Moxie, my service dog, I decided to Facetime her when I transferred to rehab. Her reaction was priceless...The next day, we were reunited. Moxie is my service dog (always training) and just turned 1 last month. What a year it has been! Here is a short sampling of our journey together so far.
